Throughout the 4 years that Michael Schaap played the (in)famous character ‘De Hokjesman’ on VPRO Television, I filmed regularly for this series with great fun. Head DOP for the first season was the great Maarten Kramer and for the the second and third season it was master cinematographer Pim Hawinkels. ‘De Hokjesman’ was pronounced best series of the season by Hans Beerekamp several times and received a Nipkow nomination in 2016.
