VERTICAL FARMING
Our food system is currently inefficiently organized. Our food is imported from all over the globe, uses a lot of water, is
wasted and pollutes the environment. However, 7 billion inhabitants of the earth, often living in large cities, must be fed.
To do this in a sustainable way, food production must be integrated into the urban infrastructure to a significant extent.
Vertical Farms and urban agriculture can be an alternative to our inefficient food systems.
